Burly London Butler 30
30-inch rectangular butler sink · Premium fine fireclay
A larger, undecorated butler sink for serious kitchens. The London Butler 30 follows the traditional London-pattern proportions, wider and shallower than a Belfast, without an overflow.
The London Butler 30 follows the London pattern: wider and slightly shallower than a Belfast, and deliberately without an overflow, giving you every millimetre of the bowl for work. Historically the London sink served town houses where water was metered and precious; today its appeal is simpler, an uninterrupted 30-inch basin, undecorated and exact, for kitchens that value capacity and dislike ornament.
The base is cast reinforced for in-frame installation, the traditional method where the sink sits within joinery rather than atop a modern carcase. Cabinet makers appreciate that we ship physical templates with every London Butler; fireclay's natural kiln variance means a paper template from the actual production batch beats any PDF.
Three-hole bridge taps, the classic pairing, mount on the counter or a timber gallery behind the sink. Offered in Matte Bone, Gloss Alabaster, and Stone Grey, the London Butler is the sink we recommend to designers chasing the English-country look without apron-front commitment.

Installation & cabinet fit
At 50 kg the London Butler needs the same disciplined support as any large fireclay sink: full-perimeter bearing on levelled cleats or a purpose frame. Because there is no overflow, a standard 3.5-inch center drain fits directly, no slotted waste required. The undecorated sides are fully glazed, so the sink can sit proud of the cabinetry on one, two, or three faces if the design calls for it.
In-frame installers: the reinforced base is engineered to bear directly on a flat frame member, use a bed of silicone to even out micro-variance rather than hard shims at points.
Cabinet fit: Fits a 33-inch base cabinet or in-frame joinery. The sink is 30" L × 18" W × 9" deep with a center drain and no overflow.
Care & maintenance
The London pattern's flat, open bowl is the easiest fireclay format to keep clean: nothing interrupts a wipe-down. Weekly cream-cleaning maintains the glaze; a bottom grid protects it from the cast-iron habit. Without an overflow, never leave the tap running unattended with the drain plugged, the traditional trade-off for the extra depth.
London Butler 30 FAQs
Why does the London Butler have no overflow?
The London pattern trades the overflow for full uninterrupted bowl depth and a simpler silhouette. It is the traditional choice where capacity matters more than overfill protection.
What taps suit the London Butler 30?
Three-hole bridge mixers are the classic pairing, mounted on the counter behind the sink. Any counter- or wall-mounted kitchen tap works; the sink itself has no tap ledge, which keeps the bowl clean-lined.
What does 'in-frame installation' mean?
The sink sits within a purpose-built joinery frame rather than dropped into a modern carcase, the traditional English method. The reinforced base is engineered exactly for this, and templates are included for your cabinet maker.
London Butler or Belfast, how do I choose?
Choose the Belfast 24 for the weir overflow and compact footprint; choose the London Butler 30 for maximum basin and a plainer, wider profile. Materially they are identical fine fireclay.
Warranty
10-year limited residential warranty; reinforced base covered against structural defect for the same term.
