At 24 inches it suits compact kitchens, sculleries, pantries, and utility rooms, anywhere a deep, honest basin earns its keep. The 10-inch bowl bathes flower vases, soaks oven shelves, and handles muddy boots with the indifference only a solid ceramic sink can offer. It installs below the counter or sits proud in a traditional in-frame cabinet.

Installation & cabinet fit
A Belfast traditionally sits on a solid base, a masonry plinth, a purpose-built timber frame, or heavy-duty cantilever brackets, with the counter scribed around or over it. At 41 kg empty it is manageable for two people. The weir overflow needs a drain assembly with an overflow inlet; specify a 'Belfast waste' or slotted basket strainer, an ordinary kitchen drain will block the weir channel.
For under-counter installations, leave the rim a few millimetres proud or flush; a deep negative reveal exposes the unglazed cut of the counter to daily splash. Pair with timber or stone counters, both are traditional, and both work.
Cabinet fit: Fits a 27-inch base cabinet or a purpose-built frame. The sink is 24" L × 18" W × 10" deep with a weir overflow at the rear face.
Care & maintenance
Belfast sinks live hard lives, that is the point of them, and fireclay obliges. Rinse after heavy use, cream-clean weekly, and flush the weir overflow monthly by filling the bowl past the slot and letting it drain; this keeps the channel fresh. Limescale in hard-water areas lifts with a 1:3 vinegar solution left for ten minutes, then rinsed.
