A drop-in fireclay sink for retrofit-friendly installations. Foundry 30 delivers the same vitreous body and depth without the renovation overhead.
The Foundry 30 exists for one honest reason: most kitchens are renovated, not built. A topmount, self-rimming fireclay sink drops into an existing counter cut-out in an afternoon, no fabricator, no support carpentry, no apron surgery on the cabinet, and delivers the same vitreous 1,250°C-fired body as our farmhouse range. If your counters are staying and your sink is not, this is your sink.
The engineered self-rimming edge seats on the counter deck and spreads the sink's 38 kg (plus contents) across the surface, while the quick-fit clip system pulls the rim down evenly for a clean silicone seal. Three pre-drilled tap holes come configurable, tap, soap dispenser, filtered-water spout, or blanking caps for the minimalists.
Four glazes, including Fired Charcoal for dark-counter kitchens, and compatibility with the full Burly accessory rail system make the Foundry the most retrofit-friendly path into fireclay ownership.

Installation & cabinet fit
Measure the existing cut-out first: the Foundry 30 needs an opening of roughly 29 × 17 inches (a template ships in the box, always cut to the template, not to these numbers). Set a bead of silicone on the deck, lower the sink, fit the quick-fit clips from below, and tighten progressively in a cross pattern, snug, never crushing. Connect the standard 3.5-inch center-rear drain and you are done; a competent DIYer finishes in two to three hours.
Replacing a stainless topmount? Check depth clearance below: the Foundry's 9-inch bowl sits deeper than most steel bowls, occasionally requiring the trap to be lowered.
Cabinet fit: Fits a standard 33-inch base cabinet with a 29" × 17" (approx.) counter cut-out. The sink is 30" L × 18" W × 9" deep.
Care & maintenance
The rim-on-counter joint is the Foundry's only maintenance point: wipe standing water off the rim rather than letting it pool against the silicone, and refresh the bead if it ever lifts. The glaze itself follows the universal fireclay routine, daily rinse, weekly pH-neutral cream clean, no abrasive pads, and shrugs off heat to 530°C.
Foundry 30 Topmount FAQs
Can I really install the Foundry 30 myself?
If you can fit a standard kitchen sink, yes. The clip system, included template, and standard 3.5-inch drain make it a two-to-three-hour job. The one caution is weight, at 38 kg, lower it into the cut-out with two people.
How many tap holes does it have?
Three, pre-drilled and configurable. Use one for a mixer and cap the rest, or fill all three with tap, soap dispenser, and filter spout. Blanking caps are included.
Will it fit the hole my old stainless sink left?
Often, yes: 33-inch-cabinet stainless sinks commonly use a similar cut-out. Verify against the supplied template; a cut-out can always be enlarged, never shrunk.
Does a topmount look cheaper than an undermount?
A stainless topmount can. A fireclay one reads as a deliberate, traditional choice, the self-rimming edge is glazed and finished as carefully as our apron fronts.
