The Tinker 18 brings full fireclay character to the places big sinks cannot go: the island corner, the home bar, the butler's pantry, the coffee station, the prep wing of a serious kitchen. At 18 × 16 inches with an 8-inch bowl it is compact without being a toy, deep enough to rinse a cocktail shaker, wash stemware, or drain a colander of herbs.
Two details separate it from generic bar sinks. First, the cast-in accessory ledge: a recessed step inside the bowl that carries a cutting board, drying rack, or rinse grid at counter height, turning the little sink into a genuine second workstation. Second, the splash-bevel rim, a subtle inward chamfer that keeps quick rinses inside the bowl instead of on the counter.
The Tinker also carries our widest finish offer, including Clay Terracotta and Fired Charcoal, because secondary sinks are where designers take chromatic risks. Templates for stone fabricators ship in every box.

Installation & cabinet fit
At 22 kg the Tinker is the one Burly sink a single installer handles comfortably. It undermounts beneath stone with standard clips or drops into laminate and timber decks using the included template. The center drain takes a standard 3.5-inch basket strainer; in bar applications a smaller 2-inch bar drain adapter also fits, ask us for the reducer spec.
Plan the tap before the counter is cut: the Tinker has no tap ledge, so the mixer mounts on the counter or wall. Compact cold-only or filtered taps suit bar duty; a full pull-down mixer suits prep duty.
Cabinet fit: Fits a 21-inch base cabinet, island void, or bar carcase. The sink is 18" L × 16" W × 8" deep with a center drain.
Care & maintenance
Bar sinks collect the acidic end of kitchen life, citrus, wine, coffee grounds, and vitreous fireclay is the right material for exactly that: the glaze is acid-resistant and non-porous, so lime juice left overnight leaves no ghost. Rinse after service, cream-clean weekly, and if you fit the accessory ledge with a timber board, oil the board, the sink needs nothing.

What is the accessory ledge for?
It is a recessed step cast into the bowl that carries a cutting board, drying rack, or rinse grid flush with the counter, effectively adding a small workstation above the basin.
Is the Tinker 18 big enough as a prep sink?
Yes, that is its design brief: rinsing produce, draining pasta, washing knives mid-service. It is not intended as a household's only sink.
Can it take a garbage disposal?
We advise against it. Compact bowls pair poorly with the weight and vibration of disposers; keep the Tinker's drain simple and put the disposer on the main sink.
Which finishes are available?
Matte Bone, Gloss Alabaster, Clay Terracotta, and Fired Charcoal. Terracotta and Charcoal are the designers' favourites for bar backsplashes that want a colour moment.
Warranty
10-year limited residential warranty on the fireclay body, glaze, and cast accessory ledge.
